Dr. Artur Arkelakyan is a dedicated dentist and founder of Coastland Dental. He first completed a DDS degree in Armenia, followed by a DDS license in California.
With over 15 years of experience in full mouth reconstruction, oral surgeries, dental implants, periodontal procedures, and more – he is an expert.
He is also a member of highly recognized dental care associations such as AACD, ADA, AAID, CDA, and ICOI.

With over a decade of experience in prosthodontics and restorative dentistry, Dr. Vage is a dedicated dental professional who combines advanced clinical expertise with a patient-first approach. His passion for dental aesthetics, implant restorations, and full-mouth rehabilitations allows him to provide exceptional, life-changing results for his patients. Dr. Vage’s dental journey spans multiple prestigious institutions worldwide. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California (USC), one of the top dental schools in the U.S.
Prior to that, he completed his Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) and DDS at Yerevan State Medical University, strengthening his expertise in prosthodontics, implantology, and advanced restorative dentistry. Additionally, Dr. Vage enhanced his skills in digital dentistry and prosthetic treatments at the Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry, specializing in CEREC scanning, in-office milling, and complex dental restorations.
Dr. Rafaele Desire Brooks studied dentistry at the University of René Descartes in Paris, France, one of the most elite and prestigious universities in Europe. Upon graduating at the top of her class she then completed a rigorous three and-a-half years post-graduate program in orthodontics and dento-facial orthopedics (C.E.C.S.M.O) and became a certified specialist in orthodontics in France.
Prior to graduation as a standout student she received a scholarship to learn lingual orthodontic techniques first hand from its Beverly Hills inventor. The scholarship culminated with her co-authoring the first ever manual on the subject of Lingual Orthodontics which has become the basis for all operational manuals.
Dr. Saeed Yazdianpour is a highly trained prosthodontist with a passion for precision, aesthetics, and patient-centered care. He specializes in restorative and implant dentistry, offering expert treatment for everything from single-tooth replacements to full-mouth rehabilitation.
Originally from New Orleans, Dr. Yazdianpour earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Boston University. He then completed a rigorous three-year specialty residency in prosthodontics at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, where he received advanced training in dental implants, complex restorative procedures, and full-arch reconstructions.
Dr. Yazdianpour began his career in Chico, California, where he served the community with a strong focus on quality and comprehensive care. He recently relocated to Southern California to be closer to family and continues to deliver exceptional dental care with a calm, thoughtful approach and meticulous attention to detail.
Outside the office, Dr. Yazdianpour enjoys fishing, hiking, and spending time with his family. His blend of technical expertise and genuine compassion makes him a trusted provider for patients seeking both functional and esthetic dental solutions.
Dr. Vahé Ohanessian brings over 20 years of clinical experience in private practice, with a strong foundation in comprehensive dental care and a unique focus on halitosis treatment. A graduate of the USC School of Dentistry, Dr. Ohanessian has previously served patients at well-established practices in Glendale and Downtown Los Angeles, and now contributes his expertise as a valued associate at Coastland Dental.
Over the course of his career, Dr. Ohanessian developed a deep interest in the often-overlooked issue of chronic bad breath. Recognizing that many patients were silently struggling with halitosis, he founded The Bad Breath Institute™ and pioneered the Airigation™ method—a proprietary system designed to treat and control the root causes of bad breath, rather than mask the symptoms.
Dr. Ohanessian is passionate about patient education and the connection between oral health and overall well-being. His integrative, compassionate approach empowers patients to overcome embarrassment, improve their oral health, and regain confidence through lasting fresh breath.
